Don’t know what Rye or Pumpernickel bread is like? Here are some basic facts –

Rye bread is a type of bread made from not just flour but also rye grain. It is much higher in fiber than white breads and usually has darker colors with stronger flavors. Rye breads come in different colors and textures depending on the amount of rye grain used.

Pumpernickel is a very heavy, but slightly sweet kind of rye bread. You’ll usually get some soft flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, or earthy taste in Pumpernickel.
